Created as a student book design project, this type specimen book explores the work of German type designer Hermann Zapf through biography, typography, and examples of his typefaces. I designed the printed specimen book and created the complete interactive digital experience, including the Flash website, animations, navigation, and sound. The project brought together editorial design, typography, web design, animation, and multimedia into a single cohesive experience.
